About RKT Performance

How It All Started

My mother once told me when I was 3 years old, I had a dish in my left hand and a fly swatter stuck between the sofa cushions and pretended to shift through the gears. I guess that was a sign of things to come.

Ever since I was old enough to walk, I was always fascinated with cars. I wanted to know how they worked, how they were assembled and how they operated. When I was old enough to drive, that is when I caught the bug for modifying/upgrading cars. I read up on all the car magazines and bought tools to work on them. Before I knew it, I was working on cars as a profession. I have been an Master ASE certified tech for more than 23 years and a Corvette/performance tech for more than 14 years.

I have built many cars in the past, but the current Papaya Orange Corvette I have was by far the most difficult, yet, most enjoyable build I have done. I have built everything on the car except for the body paint/interior paint work. As with all other car enthusiasts, my current project is an on going one.

Being a Corvette specialist, I am very in-tune with the Corvette community. Over the years, I met many people and, eventually, a few Corvette owners asked me to use my knowledge and experience to build them driveline assemblies. Soon, I was building transmissions and differentials for multiple friends who race their cars. These small side projects soon bloomed into a small business and RKT Performance was born.

At RKT Performance, we have 3 main objectives:

• Provide quality products and services at very affordable prices.
• Offer excellent after-service on all products and services.
• Provide great communication before, during and after all builds.
